Why is your pricing published?

Accepted Answer

Most broker website quotes only arrive after a sales call and a discovery form. We publish Foundation, Studio and Authority prices on the pricing page so you can self-qualify before we ever talk. The number you see is the one-time build fee, ex GST - fixed, not an hourly estimate. Domain registration, photography and third-party subscriptions sit outside it (see below).

What's included in each tier? What's not?

Each tier on the pricing page lists what's in by default. What's not in any tier: domain registration (you keep yours), professional photography, copywriting beyond the agreed page count, third-party software subscriptions (CRM, email tools, scheduling apps), and logo or brand design.If you need any of those, we'll quote them separately before we start - or you can add The Brand Starter ($1,750 ex GST) if you don't have brand guidelines yet.

Question 3

What if I need to cancel after I've signed?

Things change. Before we start work, you can cancel with no penalty. Once design begins, the 20% deposit becomes non-refundable - we've blocked your build slot and started work.If you cancel after the design phase, we'll refund any unworked portion of the balance at our discretion based on stage of completion.Every live site runs on Managed Hosting ($39/mo) - that keeps it secure, backed up and online. The Care and Compound upgrades have no lock-in: one month's notice and you're out. And you can take a copy of your code and move hosting anytime - you're never locked in.

Do you offer refunds?

If we don't deliver what's in your signed Scope of Work, yes. If you change your mind mid-build, see the cancellation answer above. Our goal is that every client is happy enough to be a published case study - if you're not, we want to hear about it before the build is done, not after.

Question 5

How long does it really take, end to end?

Accepted Answer

Foundation: 2-3 weeks. Studio: 3-4 weeks. Authority: 3-5 weeks. From sign-off.That assumes you review and approve work within 48 hours at each milestone (4-6 of them depending on tier). If you take a week to come back on a design, your build pauses for a week. The clock starts when the deposit lands.

Question 6

Who owns the code and design when we're done?

You own the design and the content of your site. WeCompound holds the code on a private GitHub repo - that's how we maintain calculators, push updates, and keep your site running. You're entitled to a full code copy on request per your signed Scope of Work, anytime. You're never locked in.

Question 7

Care Plan or Compound Plan - which one?

Accepted Answer

Every site includes Managed Hosting ($39/mo) - hosting, monitoring, backups and security patches. Foundation builds usually add the Care Plan ($89/mo), which layers on one broker content edit a month - new reviews, an RBA or rate-change update, a lender-policy update or a refresh.Studio and Authority builds need the Compound Plan ($199/mo) because lender policies and industry rules change constantly. If your calculators and copy don't keep pace, your site starts giving outdated answers within six months. The Compound Plan adds a monthly compliance scan, calculator + lender-policy maintenance, a broker-written SEO content asset each month, four small edits a month, and a quarterly lead-flow report. It's what stops your site going stale.

How is this different from hiring a web designer?

Most agencies don't speak broking. Most brokers can't speak web. WeCompound is built by a working finance broker who codes - so your NCCP-compliant copy, your borrowing-capacity calculator, your BID-aware enquiry forms, your lender panel logos - all of that gets built right the first time. No translating jargon. No "we'll have to check with our developer."
